IBM Rational® AppScan® is a Web application security testing tool that automates vulnerability assessments.

The Internet exposed web application is becoming one of the weak links in enterprise security and this potential weak link is often not detected until it has been exploited which usually results in very bad publicity and in some instance very hefty fines.
